Some explitives are applicableThat would appear to be up about 42-43% on the graph below (US$7.82 - US$7.88). This is up circa $1.30 from US$6.53/dmtu last week. Note - I'm not sure if this price assessment is through an auction, or as a price assessment Friday (London time).
It is truely surprising to be in production, having sale prices soring and the share price falling, but sometimes the market does strange things.I sense the market needs some sort of positive public statement from E25 and in the absence of that, will move with general market trends.
An interesting wild-card is the exact T&C's that E25 has, which of course are not public. If the recent shipment was priced and paid at the next available 44% price following departure, Angelic Anna could be carrying A$2m more revenue than was expected only a few days ago. If its the last published 44% Mn fast markets price at departure then the US$6.53/dmtu would be locked in. If its some sort of time-based average then who knows what the pricing received in Jan-Mar quarter will be. Time is running out for another shipment to be commissioned for this quarter.
The baltic dry is up sharply from its recent low's. It is still however down from when E25 previously contracted shipping in Nov 2021 and noted pricing in low $30's/t. Shipping should therefore still be below $1/dmtu although how much lower is unclear.
