    I can't believe the hype behind this "cheapest day for fuel" matter.
    It should be obvious that like all commodities, supply and demand determines prices, accommodation being a prime example most people would be familiar with.
    If fuel demand results in some days having low demand whilst others are high, in order to maximise efficiencies with the distribution, it makes sense to try and even out demand through varying the pricing. If the public then change their habits to purchase fuel on the traditionally slow days then obviously that becomes a high demand day at the expense of another day. I imagine the traditional day when many people buy fuel has a lot to do with when they normally get paid.
