    Hi G64,

    Long time no talk.

I'm glad you agreed I tell the truth ;)

You are right in that Austpac characterises the hopes and fears of the investors, by gum we must be in the share market. Perhaps it is more theatre which is best covered by these classic images.

If you are ever in a company where the AGM is downbeat and gloomy, either shoot the management or get out. Yes I'm an optimist so I will listen closely each time they describe their future and what it means, then I will add in my own caveats about ease of accomplishment and risks of failure or delay. As I said I found everyone quite upbeat and enthusiastic and from my discussions I joined the sentiment.

We do need the reminder of the sad faced side of the theatre of investing but APG isn't anywhere near that, the main face is probably a bored one because it has taken too much time to get the next act. It's curtains up I think not down and the next act the audience gets paid. Yes I'm optomistic but not foolish

    Cheers

    Seik
