This is because of the impact on the key suppliers of fertiliser (Russia/Belarus/Ukraine). Gas prices also impact because of the use of gas in fertiliser manufacturing. So all in all the coming shock on many fronts (including starvation in many countries) will only further increase impact on PMs and this time will be long-lasting.
