Where's the connection between high oil prices and being stranded in an EV. Meaning, if the grid is operating, I would assume one has access to electricity. Since the invasion of Ukraine, the cost of electricity generated from wind or solar has increased by $0.00, and those sources of generation are abundant too.
According to AEMO website, renewables generated >25% of total generation in the past 24 hours, and in particular, there has been an oversupply of wind generation in and around Perth region since 10.55am yesterday.
