Talking of Simon going to Mali in March. I’d say the ideal “window” for him to get away would be in the 4 weeks between the Notice of Meeting + Short Form Prospectus and prior to the Meeting. He would certainly need to be in Perth when the official JV is completed just prior to Notice of meeting. As a lot of things happen after the meeting, again he'd be needed in Perth.

I think our demerger will be very similar to the demerger of CST (of which Mark Hepburn is a Director) from Westgold. There was no Shortfall Offer with this demerger as it was underwritten. FFX has made a big deal of this only being available to FFX shareholders so I believe the shortfall will be offered to shareholders.
