Hope not. Last time I looked at St Barbara I got the impression that most people think StB's PNG mine is a dog. Anyway even if it isn't Ramelius has always been adamant that they have no interest in high risk jurisdictions.

My guess that this is all Bob Vassie's doing: remember that he was MD and CEO of St Barbara up to the end of 2019 and a year later he pulled the Ramelius chair gig, at the end of 2020. Gives an inkling of why Ramelius has been running lame since Vassie took over: virtually giving away the royalties to one of the best lithium hard rock resources in the world, lumping a project onto Ramelius that will likely take up to $300m and at least 3 years to turn a dollar. After the efforts of Bob Kennedy and Kevin Lines and Mark Zeptner Ramelius was awarded miner of the year. And just look at the underperformance of Ramelius against its peer, Silver Lake, in just the last month. Tis a shame.
