I understand what you are doing, Guru. but are you taking sufficient notice of the DowJones? they say it's an obsession with me, but let's face it. if the Dow hadn't risen sharply before the weekend, our market would be flat as a board like they all expected. most people away for holiday & all that. but the Dow called the tune.
the question is: will it go on going up? in the States, they think it will.
on the other hand, sharp rises monday morning are always a bit sus. it may yet turn out your short was correct. myself, will wait to see the change of trend (both here & overseas) before shorting.
