Again emotive choice of words. How do you know someone has "refused" to accept any possibility?
Also your choice in description of denial "(refuse to believe what is staring them in the face)".... you think it is starring one in the face, others do not.
Many nuances in the english language and you are using them all.
That does not mean I do not think companies need to clean up their acts with polluting rivers etc etc etc.
I gave an example yesterday of a company that is selling discounted solar lights to a poor, isolated area of India so that they could use these lights instead of kerosine (lamps cheaper for them to run, better for their health and the on flow of savings to the government etc, etc).
