I'm leaning towards batteries too, thinking the whole EU reliance on Russian gas&oil, current rising petrol prices etc, is the kick up the backside EV manufacturers needed.

Also, when you see all those displaced Ukrainians trying to use their phones to keep in touch with relatives/keep up with the news, same for anybody in a disaster zone like the floods and bushfires here, having a phone battery that lasts more than a day is essential, so I'm hoping the likes of Apple and Samsung are paying attention. And also maybe manufacturers of power tools and equipment, I'm assuming the SES in a disaster will be cutting through trees with petrol-driven chainsaws. I use a petrol ride-on lawnmower and petrol push mower, but would change over to using solar-powered batteries if manufacturers could produce equipment that competes well with petrol. Currently I have four Ryobi batteries charged up ready to swap out when using the drill, pruning tools or leaf blower, not ideal when each battery only lasts ten minutes!
