    You want to read this AFR about the success of defeating RuZZia (or Putin). We want them to lose and lose badly.... but not very badly because then Putin is forced to be stupid.

    UK MOD reckons 60% of RuZZian total land force is in Ukraine. If they lose in a quagmire, then Mother RuZZia is left a bit undefended by conventional forces.
