Even journalists like John Pilger rare as he is, picks his battles. Assange did not and his timing was ratsh*t. He did a kind of a open slather and while laudatory on some levels, on others it was suicidal. He need not have released all the documents. That's not journalism it's an open source approach and it's not the same thing as building software. On balance I think he was badly treated and remains so. He's no saint but the Americans are royally p*ssed off. It could have been dealt with in some other way, but he had to grandstand.

Snowden is in a weird kind of exile, being protected by Police-State-Putin. You can't get any more ironic than that.

The world is a complex place and being lectured at by you as if we know nothing about international relations and moral issues, is beyond annoying.

You're full of bile. You're not very useful you're converting nobody to the cause. All you have are some dubious pro Russian, pro Trumpists, conspiracy theorists, anti vaxxers and Chinese sponsored propagandists.
