First do yr own research on the following as detail is opaque.

I read the other day the fed govt announced some $1.5b policy that bluescope got all excited about but bsl said as long as bluescope and govt fed/nsw can work better together.
I wonder if recent senate enquiry into snowy 2 steel requirements influenced this govt policy announcement both nsw and fed ,nsw $250m.?
It appears although govt had said Australian steel would be used where possible for snowy 2 it was going to be imported from italy because we didn't have the steel technology or skills required.
Sound familiar.? ie cape class patrol boats.
Anyway snowy 2 concrete foundation laid,snowy 2 completion 2025 and now after senate enquiry into snowy 2 steel bisalloy has a chance of winning the high pressure steel pipe contract component.ie high pressure pipe and must last 150 years.
As posted detail is opaque but imo definitely worth watching developments as imo such a contract win would be material for bis fy23 earnings.

ps never liked the snowy 2 project,but if bisalloy gets the pipe business i think its a wonderful project... .
