    Hi GPoe

Parliament (Spring session) does indeed start on 21st but they have at least 177 items on the agenda. Any parliamentarian can add anything they want to discuss to the agenda and I’m not sure if there is a culling process once parliament starts. This is the kind of process that leads to no, or very few actions/outcomes, especially when you’ve got so many politicians involved. Priority will surely be given to items IA want to talk/move on/bury. So far, I’ve only seen 2 Greenlandic politicians I’d feed. Jens-Frederik Nielsen and Anna Waggeheim, both Democrats. Anna involves herself in social welfare and health issues. She brings up a lot of issues that get an airing, agreement and then they just disappear. Poof. Buried! There may be other OK politicians - I just haven’t seen raise their head above the parapet.

I’m not in favour of a referendum - thinking it’s a waste of time. 60-70% of Greenlanders only speak Greenlandic and their literacy skills are very poor. They can, and have been easily manipulated. In my opinion feeding them a diet of racism and colonialism has led to a general community malaise and feelings of helplessness and resentment. Throw in the narrative that GGG only cares about profit and that uranium is a bad genie that GGG will unlock through mining, and Greenlanders will become victims of blah blah blah

By the way, a lot of S37 questions go unanswered and this maybe 1 of them. LOL.

I have a lot of questions about legal advice, and so am just waiting to see what unfolds/ is revealed. Within this Parliament I don’t expect Naaja will get anything other than a smack on the hand.

There is no doubt the EU is setting up REE supply chain(s), as is the USA. Greenland will have to decide for itself if, with whom and at what level it wishes to participate.

There are more signs that Denmark is becoming increasingly frustrated with the Greenland Government. Mette Frederiksen, Danish PM, currently in Greenland said on 12 Mar that abuse of children has top priority and child welfare her main concern. She asked what happened to the extra funding Denmark gave in 2019? And so far all Mute can screw out of her is to get her to sign a declaration of intent to investigate what contributions Denmark can make to hydropower projects.

    Greenlanders deserve much.
