Hi KISMET, If you want a meaningful dialogue then here are a few comments.Charts are excellent for long term as well as short term.
I do not buy packages with interpretations ,except for just the chart package such as Metastock. I use lines not much else . I certainly do Not believe in Fib's, Look at Precter in 1987, or indicators such as Macd or RSI etc as they are far too slow and just do not work.I will say that Moving averages may work to some degree as Lord John Maynard Keynes,a brilliant speculator amongst other things used 3 moving averages, however I am not as smart as him.
