this is the case with most antibiotics, hence the need to take them for a longer duration to achieve their full "destructive" potential.

i expect this to be no different with Recce's drugs and really no surprise.

the question will always be; how high can the dose be to avoid longer treatments. in general it's: the higher the allowed dose, the shorter the dosing period.

the current trial will define the max dose they could use; it will be the next trial that will show how long patients will need to be treated to remove the bacteria from the body to stop the sepsis.

there could be different scenarios in the next trial with patients receiving lower and higher doses in addition to variations in the dosing time.
