I think I've said this before, having lived through the Dot Com bust I witnessed a lot of people lose a lot if not all of their money and some their lives through being heavily invested in companies that were all just hot air.

The market moves in cycles and it was obvious to me from the outset that BNPL business plans were basically just hot air and essentially just exist as a method of transferee wealth from retail investors to company founders and associates.

I started posting on Zip as one of the most active boards to add some balance to the BNPL hype to try to prevent retail investors from a repeat of 2000.

I made no secret that I was short of the stock and the reasons to do so.

The Zip forum over that time became a little community so I continued to post as my work is not done as it's my belief the company will be liquidated.

As you know I'm a trader and it helps me to post my thoughts to attract counter argument as I take very large positions and I like to read opposing views to my own.

I was short APT in the early day but reading the boards it had a "cult " following so I accepted the opposing views and changed my position.

Zip is in a terminal downtrend so even if a short position moves against you , there is a fair degree of confidence that the downtrend will never be broken given the precarious financial position and the volume of heavyweight short interest .
