Not sure if you've been keeping up with the politics but read with interest that Nationals backbencher Geoff Provest was so disgusted with the Fed Govts action or rather inaction with the NSW flood to declare that he would struggle to even vote for Scomo.

    And why is that?

Well, as the story goes, Geoff's north coast electorate of Tweed was inexplicably excluded from extra disaster funding as announced by the PM last week. When the announcement was made, the extra disaster funding was restricted to areas surrounding Lismore, Richmond Valley and Clarence Valley which were all part of the federal seat of Page held by the Nationals. Coincidentally or perhaps not, the excluded areas of Tweed, Ballina and Byron which were also impacted by the floods happened to be in the federal seat of Richmond which is held by Labor. But by Thursday afternoon, the Feds backflipped as usual with Bridget McKenzie announcing the extension to include the Richmond seat areas.

This shows yet again an action that is unbecoming of a PM who is supposed to stand for all people of Australia, not just people in his LNP seat. Quite clearly his actions and priorities have been geared primarily towards winning elections rather than governing the nation as a whole as he should as a PM. You do not play damn politics with people's lives!!

It is no wonder that SA Govt had a landslide loss as people are sickened by the failure and lack of crisis management by both the state premier and the Fed Govt. The SA loss does send an ominous sign and message to the PM, and one can only expect his last desperate attempt to dish out goodies in the upcoming budget and "buy votes" for his coming May election, hoping that everyone has a short memory of his failures and follies and be seduced by his handouts (which again would not be directed disproportionately to the people who deserves and need them most e.g the poor because they are not his constituents ).
