Not as weird as doing a CR at 12c then making an announcement re drilling being called.

Had they let the SP run on the good announcment then VWAP'd at 21c+ before announcing the placement I reckon it would have likely negated 70% of loyal holders gripes. Whether people like it or not the 12c will act as a bit of a magnet in the short term together with placement recipients looking to make an ultra quick buck. Some will see this as irritating and a reason to sell whilst others will see opportunity to reload/ top-up for a SP that could move nicely towards 30c on good results. Share prices tend to go down easier than they go up. A bit of churn betweenc 14c and 18c is a healthy thing right now.
