Very much so. It is the biggest hole in the argument. A 60 something with a big belly can jab themselves to hell and back and they aren't going to become safer than an un-jabbed 20 something.

Keeping your job through getting vaxxed is a government reward for being a good little citizen, it is not based on an absolute risk based assessment.
