I take it as a positive overall and an endorsement of the validity of the technology. As others have mentioned, it’s unlikely that Ken Hurley would be interested in taking the job unless he was persuaded to believe that 4ds had exciting tech that was commercially valuable.
It seems obvious to me that KH was headhunted to commercialise the technology and finalise a deal. He’s got 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and a long list of industry contacts on his Rolodex.
I’ve still got a significant 7 figure holding but am no longer a top 20 shareholder. I remain optimistic of a sale in the next 12 months but perhaps not as supremely confident as I once was.
You know once bitten, twice shy and all that.
I’m reminded of a Mark Twain quote :
“It ain’t what you don’t know but that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so”
What you think is fact but turns out to just be an opinion.
But having said all that, I think this appointment of KH is a bullish sign for the company.
