    @mogga - I stand corrected - I probably meant 'street smart' - as in: conniving, furtive, shifty etc. way . . . smile.pngwink.png

    btw - I was sent a speech given by Otto (plus his 31 names) von Habsburg in 2003 and he analysed Putin then down to a 't'
    it is in German though, so a link won't help you much.

    Briefly: Otto von Habsburg had to go to some conference in East Germany - and there was a demonstration of sorts and he fell in with a group of people who were ex-prisoners (political) from an infamous prison in Dresden, of which one of the heads was Putin - apparently he was known for being excessively cruel.
    He then began to describe how Putin got into power, (which was almost humorous) - Otto von H. had met Yeltsin and regarded him as urbane, even if and whilst drunk - he reckons, Yeltsin was drunk as usual at one of the sessions of the Party Faithful and was simply carted out of the room and taken home and Putin 'took the throne' without resistance . . .
    btw I have been trying to ascertain on which side the Serbs are? They have always had a long ear out towards the Russians frown.png

    (P.S. I had a wonderful and handsome Serb suitor once, for a little while - perfect gentleman, he was a communist party official at a party gathering at a hotel I was accidentally booked into in Fiume - I had the perfect holiday with his help and his car and his chauffeur . . . - alas long long ago . . . but he was from the former 'upper class')

    go well
