re: darvas formula from b2
Madmacs I know there are a lot of variations of Darvas but I cant see that the red lines/boxes are correct. The box July 5 to August 23 approx , cant see why the bottom is there unless taken from a low which happened before the high was formed. Secondly, Darvas used a buy point when the price went through the top of the box, whereas I use the day when the bottom of the box is formed (3 higher lows than the lowest and always after the high has been formed). I'm no Darvas but my theory is the price is better lower in the box than out the top of an old box.. For what its worth.
