I think, purely IMO, that 24 months seems to be the standard for this type of clinical trial. However, what if Vaxinia works as well as it did in the lab? Quick, effective, non-toxic. Solid tumour gone in a matter of weeks/months? Would the trial still continue for 24 months? Probably not.
