Sorry to hear you were in an abusive relationship and you ended up feeling like a donor.
In my marriage I refered to, I was the faithful partner. My partner chose to stray, which resulted in the pregancy of his much younger lover.
Did I take responsibility for the relationship breaking down? Yes I did, even though people felt he did the wrong thing. Did I see myself as a victim? No.
I believe we all create our own experiences. I moved on and have been with a wonderful man for 16 years and we have two beautiful boys. I learnt a lot of life lessons from a very good marriage counsellor and still stand by the words I posted previously. I also acknowledge that I am human and am still learning.
