I think your thinking on sentiment and reality is very sound. The IRR and NPV was calculated at an Fe price about US$50 short of today's price, so a today NPV is well over double and the IRR, if I could calculate it from their spreadsheets would be close to the 30% range. Bankers and BFS people always significant under state pricing of commodities and overstate capex and open. It's just what they do. This project is a must have for the WA Govt IMHO.
