Why couldn't CBA takeover AMP? NAB obviously thought that they could, so surely CBA would be in the running. CBA's mkt dominance is retail banking and AMPs is in Life and Super. Sounds like a good fit to me and one that could pass ACCC scrutiney
And also - I'd like to make a few bucks out of my meagre holdings (3000 AMP).!
