yes the Azov units or opposition military shooting from any structure is a legitimate military target, sad but true. If they surrendered the destruction of the city will cease.

I dont know if you saw the latest installment from Pete Lancaster but basically the ordinary people saying while they were not targeted by ukraine military that they are aware of they were not fed or evacuated by them or kept informed. They never heard anything about humanitarian corridors, when RF took over they were given food and evacuated to safety. I think its in Ukraine interest for footage of destroyed cities and dead civilians. I think its not in Russian interest for that to occur. They are at least trying to get them out of the way.
