They have been talking $150m to sink the shaft, they are talking about producing up to 450,000tpa zinc, 350,000tpa lead, 7.5Mozpa silver and 500,000tpa Barite.
It's interesting that they have been approached by every major miner regarding a joint venture but have so far said thanks, but no thanks. The feeling i got after the AGM was that the Chinese wanted in on Admiral bay and this in turn would open up more opportunities in mainland China for KZL to exploit Chinese minerals in joint ventures with Chinese companies.
I'm not saying that is what will definitely happen but reading between the lines that seemed to be what was being implied.
It's also interesting that i have never been to an AGM and seen a Chinese face, this year the room was half full of Chinese faces
