Not quite true. Possibly ADX's best resource, the Nilde offshore oil field in Italy, has been denied to them by a 2019 moratorium put in place by the Italian government. From what I can determine, this moratorium expired late last year but so far nobody has committed to further O&G development in Italy until the government clarifies its position. Italy has been reliant on Russia for much of it's energy imports and people in Italy are becoming very angry at the high cost of energy while they have the best hydrocarbon deposits in Europe sitting off their coastlines. With the forthcoming divestment from Russian oil and gas, and the imminent G7 meeting which will consider energy, the situation in Italy could change around very quickly putting Nilde back on the table for ADX.
