I am disgusted with the purchase of Dargues and all the goings on post like everyone else - it stinks.. but I've had this asset at zero for a long time. The share price dunked 9% when there was water ingress the other week and I got a good trade out of it and it dunked 13% today and i took a good slice. Dargues and mgmt incompetence is a story here but zoom out a little. THE story is Federation.
A$500m EV. The high grade Kairos deposit now being mined out of Peak. Commodity prices ripping, unhedged, net cash, and an incredible deposit in Federation down the road from Hera (ie high margin, low capex). I think Federation & Kairos alone will spit out north of A$200m pa between them for many years to come and underpins the current (A$500m EV) share price. Dargues is but an (annoying) distraction..
