Looking back, you can clearly see that the sharts were working on the MSB removal from ASX300 from March 7th.
~13m aggregated short positions were closed from then, with the bulk of the transfer occurring on March 18th, i.e ~8m
So we had a taste of a short squeeze, followed by the large planned exit.
I want to see the real short squeeze, where panic buying occurs
There's till ~51m outstanding short positions - if this coincide with Mesoblast releasing good news e.g. Ryoncil BLA resubmission, partnership $$$ and/or CHF approval pathway - then we are going to see the real short squeeze (or even better a series of these short squeezes)
