The more competition, the more attention towards neuromorphic AI technology and the more adoption of the technology. Akida chips and IP will always be up there in the top 3 future neuromorphic chips...if not, always in the "Golden Standard" position because it holds the patents for edge learning which is probably the most important feature in many ways. As the word spreads, any industry looking at AI will turn towards using these chips in their designs and systems. I have many friends in the health industry telling me that a quarter of research today is about developing AI systems from booking patients, ordering of investigations, diagnostic procedures and testing , treatment/follow up plans and even for live surgery. The world have been waiting for these chips to come out to make AI technology more accessible and adaptable.
What a great position to be in being the first chip and the only one to have edge learning capability. I have not seen a company being first in a particular technology that is going to be widely used and not become a MEGA brand company...Brainchip will soon be a known brand like Microsoft, Apple, Tesla etc...and I must admit a fantastic memorable name that rolls of the tongues so easily!
