Seen a bit of this here lately, so when in Rome... been a SH since 2014 (YRR days) when dropped a few mil into my SMSF, basically on the strength of the Va resource (best in Oz and globally significant) and the belief in VRFB's. It has not been a perfect road to here (rarely is) but I could not expect any more from this company and have never been more confident that we will break dirt on this amazing project/s.
It is now AVL's time and this is the 'perfect storm' we've been waiting for, evidenced by the SP increase and massive volumes (nb. A healthy retrace and period of consolidation is normal). This will easily be a $1B MC company, and probably more.
So well done to all fellow LTH's and welcome & conrats to all new holders, as this is only the beginning...
Don't forget new punters we also have Coates, Nowthanna, and 'cough' Blesberg.
Well the reason I really dropped in, VANADIUM NEWS!...
With so many new Vanadium (Va) converts the multitude of uses may not be known. The potential biggie is the Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB). We (Vsun) are leaders in this space, and are preparing residential and 'standalone power systems'. Whilst it's true the footprint is slightly larger in these smaller systems, what many may not realise, is that as you scale up the relative footprint reduces! This is perfect for larger grid-scale, which is required as we transition to renewables/net zero.
Our near-sighted coal loving pollies who have been intoxicated by Elon's 'Musk' have as usual gone for the 'quick fix' - Lithium, when this 'Aussie invention' is more suitable. Doesn't need a complex array of coolant/air-conditioners to cool it down so it doesn't CATCH FIRE! Doesn't become worn out and need replacing after 10 years, VRFB's can cycle indefinitely and the Va easily reused.
Could go on forever but the chart and tweet from one of our peers below highlights the main points...
