    I would recommend you brush up on your understanding of board duties before you think any more about your legal action.

    Shareholders want profit, but company duties cost money to execute (E.g. safety, risk, compliance, etc - noting board members are ultimately accountable for these things).

    You can see therefore that those different priorities can come into conflict (spend money vs make profit).

    Hence the role of the board is to act in the best interests of the company. The shareholders are not the company

    its up to investors to decide whether the board and company will deliver shareholder value and invest accordingly... I guess that's why they call it specualting
