Do you have any idea what it takes to win urban warfare?

Have a read through history books on the bombing of Belgrade, Iraq, Syria, Vietnam!!!

I will give you an example: The US and Nato dropped over 10,000 bombs on Raqqa over 4 months. In the end, literally every building was flatten and more than 80% of the people who either decided to stay or couldn't get out, were killed - along with all the ISIS members who barricaded themselves within the city. Of course, you guys didn't give a damn, as these were "Brown" people.

Well, that is how the US and its Allies win battles against urban entrenched cities: bomb the living hell of them. This strategy was applied in Yugoslavia, Iraq, Syria and Vietnam.

Now, if Russia had spent 4 months and dropped 10,000 bombs on a city like Kiev and killed over 80% of its inhabitants, you guys would be screaming out about genocides!!!

The Russian strategy (IMHO) has been to concentrate Ukrainian forces up North - ie. tie them up in their defensive positions in Kiev, by giving a false impression they would attack, whilst their main forces take over the strategic South and East of Ukraine.

Of course, as most of the Ukrainian forces are entrenched in buildings like Kiev, they can't leave these cities to reinforce the South and East, as it would expose their convoy to Russian air attacks.

That's why Zelenskyy pleaded with NATO to provide a no-fly zone over Ukraine, and when that did not work, his propaganda department issue daily press releases of alleged war crimes in Mariupol.

Have a look at the latest war map: all the major cities up North have been encircled, but the ones in the South and East; one by one, have been systematically attacked.
