Hey @seaman91, sure, agree with the commentary on the Phase 1 but your last comment - things going wrong between now and then (then being the three mine gig) - I thought it was perhaps cup half full on Nifty and on the wider tenements. Not dumping on you just offering an alternative view, and maybe you were just being cup half full on the day lol !!

Yes it is a mining project and there are many things that could go right, go wrong, go sideways. That's not news. It's an expectation.

But this company has 1 million tonnes of in ground copper metal in its tenements, two of which are very shallow which will make them very economic to exploit. This 1m tonnes has potential to double as exploration has been limited in these tenements as well as the Paterson Project. That would put us in the top 10 resources in the country. We are currently in the top 20.

Nifty stage 1 is just a means to get finance. That's all. If someone is willing to lend CYM $200m on the back of a phase 1 restart, they are not looking at a 6 year life mine company, they are looking at (and investing in) the next mid-tier copper in Australia. Would be fools not to get involved.

Look for the trading halt in the next few weeks as finance is announced. Baz said they want to start drawing down in July so that is not long away. They want to be busy writing cheques for long lead items and the hint that Baz gave us that the government approvals might be achieved more rapidly (he said they are fielding questions already on the submissions) will be good news. And it might just be impetus for an earlier production date. Wouldn't that be nice ??!!
