The new seismic this season should identify the next immediate targets, I imagine… presume they will want to nail the big bastard in the middle as well as confirming the extent of the field with at least one more outlier? Eric has stated Rafa-1 will be retested in Q3, so that’s baked in. Whether BRU are still the operator, I don’t know (maybe ORG have a rig they can divert from the Beetaloo?) or maybe ORG only intend to assume operatorship at the commencement of production leaving BRU to run the initial exploration phase, now I think about it?
So, if you are retesting Rafa-1 after a workover to clean up the near-wellbore formation damage, what kind of operation can you perform to checkout the water contact down there and see if there’s any oil first? Do you need to stick a drill all the way down or can you test it some other way (and why didn’t they already)?
