here is another theory, XMas break. I am finding it strange that most of my portfolio has coped a hiding over the last week and most are expecting significant announcements to come out very soon. Are brokers selling off stocks regardless of whats going on behind the scenes? Don't most close down for a couple of weeks over the Xmas / New year period?
