RNU had 3 months to object to the patent application and left it for the very last day,
As highlighted in Today's announcement RNU claims they have all this information to overturn EGR's patent approval, yet no information was part of their objection letter, instead, they are using the additional 2-month window to provide the information to support their objection.

Considering the Patent objection has no impact on EGR and RNU has disclosed it may have implications for their purification process. it seems extremely odd RNU hasn't provided this evidence as part of their objection.

This is going to drag on for months, Once RNU supplies the information, EGR has a further 2 months to reply. it is then assessed over a 2 month period, Once a decision is made, either party can appeal the decision. All parties occur significant legal costs and costs can be awarded against the objecting party if the patent is upheld. Seems like a significant risk for RNU to object just in case they might want to use certain aspects of the purification process, Why would you bother if this has no impact on your business.

IMO, this appears to be more critical to RNU than the ASX announcement alludes to and may impact RNU's ability to sign its PSG offtakes.
I know I would be questioning why RNU is objecting to the patent if they are not using a similar flowsheet.
