I had a closer look at the results and it follows with what I posted here before on Mt Boppy. I edited my original image from back then to show the "out of current pit" drill results of interest.https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/4213/4213165-f57685b11a457420d36f540f3c4f9858.jpg

"The secondary targets all intercepted wide zones of quartz veining and pervasive re-silicification (indicated by green-grey coloration in fresh rock chips) which had ubiquitous anomalous but low tenor gold <1g/t. Widespread gold anomalism indicates the passage of gold-bearing fluids through the system but none of the secondary targets produced gold intercepts of economic grade or width. Interpretation of the drill results with respect to geophysical and structural parameters is ongoing."

If you look at Mt Boppy Sth and also Reid-Rankins drill results and the geography of the area you can infer what happened with this area fairly easily. The mineralization was created at some point in this Canbelego region, and some of that in the "higher zones" drifted over time with the aid of water and other factors to lower regions to become more concentrated like at Mt Boppy and to a lesser extent Mt Boppy Sth. Though one must respect that "Levels" in geological terms is a very fluid term as they shift around underground and have deposits laid on top of them, etc.

There would be very good gold between Mt Boppy Sth and Mt Boppy but the problem is extracting it economically. The main arc of energy would have occurred between Mt Boppy and Reid Rankins, so there should actually be a fairly nice deposit around Reid Rankins too as not all of it can flow. From the information I have it is a lot more untouched than Mt Boppy was but it also likely has a lot more overburden which is why the old timers struggled harder with it, the question is how do you find it with a limited budget like MKR has?

Anyway it is good to not only have an economical reason to go back to Mt Boppy but also a very good sign that there is a lot more to find in that region when they can afford to properly map it. Mt Boppy Sth should also be viable. Once silver moves and MKR are rolling in profit they should definitely invest a lot into properly mapping it because there should be a sister deposit of around 300-400K ounces of gold there too.
