At that price per pallet you'd think you'd make sure they weren't going to tip and split the bags and spill the (very valuable) contents all over the floor, contaminating them.

I've never even seen pallets of cement bags or animal feed stacked that poorly!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting we should be concerned or trying to diminish the gravity of our story, it's just bizarre to see the worst pallet stacking job I've ever seen being used on one of the more valuable payloads on a pallet you tend to see. If you did it that poorly at the local flour mill or something your boss would tell you off and make you redo it, and the forklift operator would usually refuse to move it.

(Before anyone asks, no, I don't work in a warehouse, haven't done since I was a young fella before I went to university over 20 years ago, but I'm familiar with how to stack a pallet).
