Oh and BTW, I would rather do a few years in prison knowing I had given 'justice' to anyone who threatened my family............ than be a victim twice over and live forever knowing I naively trusted a court system that let the offender walk free.
You know, bad things sometimes happen, and I am pretty confident that I would get over any assault to me. But I would NEVER get over a justice system that failed me. I would stew and stew and it would poison me. Probably. Luckily I have never been in either situation.
