The graphic is missing the Why and requires deeper financial analysis for investors. This is for those considering when buying/selling to see what others are thinking. A majority of Brokers are clueless to what is going on and only keep privileged financial analysis to themselves and clients.
For me it is under the bonnet financial fundamentals that trigger buys/sells and Magellan doesn’t have characteristics of a turnaround yet to put money in. At best a turnaround in business to historical growth rates, PE Ratio and share price is a 30% probable bet, any profitable investment now would be guess work and luck (I am talking 2x capital investment).
My longer term base price is dropping as FUM drops, hopefully for current shareholders an improvement is demonstrated in next FUM release which should be late next week. The performance I am tracking shows good growth in USD terms for Infrastructure Equity Fund, but is muted due to AUD/USD movements, at least it is not negative. Airlie has a 6% performance growth which is good. The Global Equity performance is tracking negative for the month due to AUD/USD.
