Honestly can't blame either party for being overly cautious (re: timeline of the project), given this is brand new tech. Still will have a FID by end of this year, not that much of a delay IMO.
FYI, the quoted number states the project may cost between AUD$50-$70 mil. A single BMX auction of 10k tonnes @ $5,000 USD/t would all but fund the project.
