This is extreme value destruction for existing shareholders, with the deeply discounted capital raise price. The share count grows 2-3x meaning that profits will need to grow by that multiple to even reach the share price levels of pre pandemic.
This is a lesson in how not to prepare for and raise capital. The market has known about this requirement to raise capital for nearly two years - it was a matter of when.
