The time lines are on track, if FID is made end of this CY. The scoping study was what I expected, fine tunning to arrive at the final product, which is phosphate.
The thing in the announcement that stood out, was the conversion ratio of 27kt of 5% spod to 3kt of phosphate, i.e. 9kt of spod to 1kt of phosphate, that's more than I anticipated. Yes, it's early days, and not at scale, but cost of spod production, coupled with conversion costs suggests it will be a bit expensive with those ratios...
Am I missing something, did I misread the announcement, because it only takes ~7kt of spod to convert to 1kt of hydroxide.
