Baggies - you are not getting it...

It DOESN'T MATTER about the scale of operations thus far - it is the PERCEPTION that this is the start of a big greedy mining company getting a foothold in the area.

Loopy - I think we had a similar discussion a few weeks ago relating to the seemingly deliberate strategy of the Company flying under the radar (this includes releasing announcements after market, shying away from main stream media and their lack of presence on the Australian conference circuit) and my concerns about this.

Well those concerns have unfortunately materialised.

Starkam - you seem quite informed about the Company but you are also missing the point here.

Perception is that the Company deliberately and systematically tried to keep a low profile and while not breaking any laws, were sneaky in the way they went about gettting a mine up and running. Like it or not, this is what the broader community now thinks.

I believe this perception was forseeable (I and many others saw it so why not the Company?) and the Company should have had measures in place to address this BEFORE it got to this stage - I believe this was a GROSS MISJUDGEMENT by management who did not adapt and review their marketing and PR strategy to the changing nature of their business.
