Not too complicated, "the minnows" are the equivalent of the 100:1 roughy outsiders, drawing in all of the Mug-Punters money down in the Betting Ring on Track Day, whereas, AKE and PLS are "the Bookie's Favorites" going up on the big board at less than even money, and as we all know, Favorites, are called Favorites, ...for a reason...!
