    Of course the climate was affected by natural factors such as the Milankovitch cycles. That's why we had the ice ages.

    However, typically these natural factors take their course over hundreds of thousands of years not one century. Also the major ones are well known and accounted for. To think that we can't accurately measure and account for the Earth's orbit around the sun, it's tilt and wobble is patently ridiculous.

    The worrying aspects to the temperature rise is that it happened in one century, it's rate is increasing and there are no credible 'natural' causes to which to attribute it.
